| March 15 & 16 Main Street Hardy Spring Gun & Knife Show |
You’ll be able to buy, sell
or trade new guns, old guns, memorabilia and more during
Main Street Hardy’s big annual Spring Gun and
Knife Show Saturday, March 15 and Sunday, March 16 in
the Old Hardy Gym. This is a good time
to see not only the newest guns and knives available
but also old guns, Civil War memorabilia, decoys and
calls. Knives of all shapes and sizes will be for sale
and knife sharpening will also be offered. Food vendors
will be on hand both days for refreshments.The show,
sponsored by Main Street Hardy and the City of Hardy,
will be held from 9 a.m. until 5 p.m. on Saturday, March
15 and from 10 a.m. until 4 p.m. on Sunday, March 16.
The Old Hardy Gym is located at 203 School
Street.
Admission: $3.00 (children under 12 free must be accompanied
by an adult). Location: Old Hardy Gym, 203 School St.
Door prize, food concession. Dealers and private vendors

Because of our recent Flooding Disasters, this event will be scheduled to be held later in the year when Loberg Park is able to be reopened. Over 6,000 eggs with a prize in every one will be hidden around the hunting areas. All children are welcome. Sponsered by the City of Hardy. Wal-Mart of Ash Flat donated the eggs.

Spring River Art Gallery is sponsoring an Art Competition on April 12-27. This is an open competition to all artists 18 years old and above. The artwork must be original, framed, ready to hang. Monetary awards for Best of Show and People's Choice will be given. There will also be monetary awards for First, Second, and Third place winners in several categories. Arts & Crafts Festival |
There will be plenty of arts & crafts,
food, music and fun for the whole family as the Old Hardy
Town 25th Annual Spring Arts & Crafts Festival gets
into full swing Saturday, April 19 and Sunday, April 20
in Hardy, Arkansas. The festival is free and open to the
public from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Saturday and from 10 a.m.
until 4 p.m. on Sunday. This is a juried show, which ensures
the public of merchandise that meets set standards.
Vendors from as far away as Maryland, Florida, and seven
other states make the Old Hardy Town Arts & Crafts
Festival an event that annually attracts folks to this
small resort town of only 754 in population on the beautiful
Spring River. The Festival includes over 100 craft vendors
showing a large variety of handmade crafts, including
wooden items, jewelry, clothing, candles, salsas, florals,
dolls, holiday items, and many other unique crafts. In
addition, a variety of food vendors will be serving up
such unique taste treats as alligator on a stick, kettle
korn, Ozark BBQ, deep fried twinkies and onion blossoms;
as well as the traditional favorites of ice cream, roasted
nuts, fresh lemonade, and more. Family fun and musical
entertainment will be provided at different points throughout
the festival area for kids, including bounce houses, face
painting and more. Free music performances will be located
along Main Street.
The festival will take place along Main Street Hardy,
restored to the quaint beauty of a past century, and in
the Old Hardy Gym. There is plenty of free
parking right on the Main Street and one block off Main Street. The festival and the over 75 specialty
shops that comprise the National Register Historic District
in Hardy are all located within the five block downtown
area.

24 - Tribute to the Wilburn Brothers |
The world famous Wilburn Brothers were born in Hardy Arkansas. The Wilburn Brothers started 70 years ago as children, singing on the street corner. Overcoming hard times and the war they came back and became one of America's most beloved singing groups.
From the Louisiana Hayride show to the Grand Ole Opry these boys used hard work and determination to climb the music charts.
Every year on the day before Memorial Day, the City of Hardy pays tribute to these hometown boys.
The entire Wilburn Family attends this nostalgic event along with world renown steel guitarist Don Helms. The Malpas brothers give a performance that will make you think you have traveled back in time.Come bring your lawn chair and enjoy a night under the stars that you won't soon forget.

6 - Second Annual Spring River Car Cruise "Cruisin Hardy" |
| Vintage and Antique Car owners will be cruisin' their classic dreams first down the new Truck Route and sweep around to roll down Main Street Hardy. Cruisers will end up at the vacant lot next to the Vintage Car Museum where they will enjoy a cook out provided by the City of Hardy.
Music can be enjoyed by all at the Downhome Country Kitchen stage adjacent to the lot.
Along with the next day's car show this event promises to become one of the most popular of the season. |

One of the region's most popular events! Come on down to Loberg Park in Hardy and enjoy a blast of the past a real flash back to those golden oldie auto's of yesteryear.
Do you remember your first car? And that favorite car you had years ago? The cars may be gone, but the memories are not and every year Loberg Park is filled with antique and vintage cars that are buffed and shined to a gleam and put on display for the delight of event goers.
Everyone enjoys this spectacular event. So come on Mom's and Dad's and relive those golden days and bring the kids and grandkids to share those memories.

21 - 18th Annual Hardy Homesteaders Day |
Relive the experiences
of those rugged pioneers who settled the Arkansas Ozarks as
The Hardy Homesteaders celebrate their 18th annual Homesteaders Day.
Music, rides, and a dress contest, will entertain visitors.
Don’t forget to bring your favorite box turtle for the
exciting Terrapin Races. The event will be held Saturday, June
21th from 9 a.m. until 3 p.m. in the city’s Loberg Park,
just off Main Street.
Homesteaders Day provides a brief glimpse into the lives of
our Ozark ancestors through personal historical interpretation
and re-enactment of routine daily activities particular to the
pioneers and their families that settled in the Hardy area.
Visitors will see character portrayals of the tradesmen, sutlers,
craftspeople and ordinary folk that made up area communities,
as well as the sights, sounds, and smells of an era all but
forgotten and unknown to younger generations, whose only exposure
may come in the form of history books or movies.
There will be live music, wagon rides, a petting zoo, the ever
popular Terrapin Races, a turn on the bucking barrel, dancing,
and an old fashioned dress contest. Visitors can register at
the front gate for door-prizes, a hand stitched quilt, and drawings throughout the day.
