Main Street Hardy Mission
Statement
To revitalize, promote, and improve
the economy of Hardy through education
and historic preservation and maintain the integrity of the
downtown historic district.
Design Committee Mission Statement
To create a visually pleasing
downtown streetscape, adhere to historic preservation
ethics, aid downtown merchants in design and funding of signage,
develop, implement, and maintain downtown community projects.
Organization Committee Mission Statement:
To create and maintain
an active cohesive board of directors, work equally in
all 4 points through committee development, and secure program
funding sources.
Promotion Committee Mission Statement
To
create and maintain a diverse yearly calendar of events
that make Hardy a
tourist destination as well as a ptace for community
recreation
and involvement.
Economic Restructuring Committee Mission Statement
To increase
the the economic vitality of downtown Hardy, retain and
recruit downtown business, provide merchant education seminars/workshops,
and work with city government on economic policies to maintain
a stable economy in Hardy.
